Full Immersion challenges the intersection between technology and reality, between the digital and the natural. The work questions what we sacrifice in the pursuit of immersive digital experiences – and what lies right in front of us while we are busy being somewhere else.

By manipulating an older landscape painting with modern spray painting techniques, a contrast between past and future is created. The nature that was once self-evident becomes a backdrop for a new layer of reality. But what is really real? And who decides what is worth seeing?

Full Immersion is a reflection on how we sense and interact with the world – and how our choices today shape the future of those who come after us.
